Welcome...

WEAHA has expanded eligibility and categories of membership - see our membership application for details! The Wisconsin Egyptian Arabian Horse Alliance (WEAHA) is a cooperative of dedicated Arabian horse breeders whose purpose is to preserve and perpetuate the bloodlines of Egyptian Arabians.  Through our fellowship and comradery, WEAHA strives to increase awareness of the value and importance of Egyptian Arabians and to encourage others to share in the benefits and rewards of owning these classic horses.

Why is Wisconsin a "Mecca" for straight Egyptians?  Some of the finest stallions stood here first.  Directly from Egypt came *Farazdac, *El Mareekh, *Tuhotmos and *Akmar.  Nabiel stood in Wisconsin for most of his breeding days, and Ruminaja Ali in his early years.  Hadaya El Tareef was bred by one of our proud members, and many other well known halter and performance champions.  At this time, there are some of their best sons standing at stud by our members, as well as those of other popular Egyptian lines.  Visit our Membership Directory for additional information.

Straight Egyptian Arabians

The Straight Egyptian Arabians are a rare and elite segment of the Arabian horse family.  Although numbering less than one percent of the hundreds of thousands of Arabian horses in the world, Straight Egyptian Arabians consistently claim a far greater proportion of honors and championships.  Even more importantly, their intensely bred characteristics reliably improve the beauty, type, ability and quality of successive generations of all Arabian horses.

Through our perception, our pursuit and our perseverance, the WEAHA membership has carved out for Wisconsin a prestigious Mecca for those Arabian horse "enthusiasts" seeking elegant, refined bloodstock.  We all warmly invite you to come visit our members' farms.  Within this stewardship, there can always be something to learn, their can always be something to give.  Let us show you our individual breeding programs with our horses.  We always have time to sit down and chat over a cup of coffee and maybe we can swap a few horse stories.  A plus to your visit is the enjoyment of the Badger State - it's beauty, resources and tourist attractions.  The " welcome mat " is always out.

We hope to see you soon.
