Ancient Oaks is a small farm, located
in northern Illinois, that specializes in breeding Straight
Egyptian horses. We have accumulated and bred some
of the finest Straight Egyptian Bloodlines. We do
not produce many foals each year but we maintain a high
standard of quality. We have daughters of PVA Karim,
Anaza El Farid, Thee Desperado, Ibn El Mareekh, *Jamilll,

Established in 1969 & after seeing the great *Ramses Fayek & movies of *Talal, we decided this was the only way to go and purchased our first straight Egyptian. Our breeding lines has favored him as well as *Ibn Hafiza, Prince Ibn Shaikh, Imperial Madheen, the legendary Bint Deenaa and her sons, Anaza El Farid, Nizr both sired by Ruminaja Ali and Anaza Bay Shahh.
Yet our herd must slowly go down to lesser numbers as our age is slowing us down also.
Since each of our mares and fillies, colts have their own special qualities; I will quote you whatever you are potentially interested in till we are down to a more manageable number.

Our mission is to breed kind, correct, usable horses possessing the classic Arabian “ethereal” beauty. Phenotype and pedigree as well as disposition are carefully considered in our matings. Stallions and mares are selected not only for their individual strengths, but also for their overall contribution to the herd. We benefit from the knowledge passed on by my father, Morris Rustebakke, who spent his entire life owning horses. Dad mechanized our family farm in North Dakota when he was 18; prior to that, all the farm work had been accomplished with horses. His lessons were practical.
We bred and trained all of our horses and used them not only for pleasure but to work the cattle herd. M-R, our brand M Bar R, is carried by all the horses bred here, as a tribute to dad. Now located in south-eastern Wisconsin we are about 30 minutes from Milwaukee , a little over an hour from Madison and just a short trip from Chicago . Hello, Hola, Bom Dia, Guten Tag, Shalom! Welcome
to Vudu Magic Arabians, a small discriminate breeder of Straight
Egyptian and related foals. As Life Members of the Pyramid
society we want to assure you we are dedicated in the perpetuation
of these blessed horses. Our goal is to produce quality foals
with versatility from the show ring to your endurance performance
based animals. We individually handle every foal from birth. We
start them with halter acceptance and being lead around the pasture
to loading into a trailer with ease. They are sensitized to
farrier experiences and learn respect for their human companions.
Our
foals begin halter classes as yearlings and we constantly prepare
them for performance careers through exposure to various “horsey” experiences
from the ground up. Our first generation foals have shown
nicely at halter and are just beginning work under saddle.
Matching our mares to stallions with attributes that compliment and improve their
qualities has produced the colt to the left. He is an example of the
perfect blending we strive for. VMA Akkihr's Matter (Ibn Isador Akkihr
x VMA Barr Risha) is a bay colt with the look of champion written all over
him. He is as extreme as they get.
